Meet the Team
Gareth Pearce
Managing Director
Gareth established and is responsible for developing the strategic direction of the Searchlight business within Hanson Wade, ensuring continues to add demonstrable value to every member as it scales. Gareth has successfully built and grown information businesses in the US, Europe, Asia and the Middle East during a 20 year entrepreneurial career. He holds a first class degree in Politics and earned a postgraduate Certificate in International Business Practice from the Mountbatten Institute in New York.
Tayo McCanna
Project Development Director
Tayo is the Director of the LEAP HR Construction Searchlight network, where she has built, developed, and grown the community into a trusted space for HR, TA, and TD leaders across construction. She oversees the network end to end, shaping its direction, supporting members, and ensuring it delivers practical, year round value through meaningful connections and shared insight.
With over 10 years of experience, Tayo has led high performing teams, delivered a wide range of events, and helped create communities that genuinely support how people learn and solve challenges together. Tayo holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Southampton Solent University.
